As the Oscars come to a close so does the award show season, which means this is the last chance we have all year to talk about how bad (and good) the red carpet fashions were!

Last night at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood marked the 84th annual Academy Awards, and the stars brought out their A-Games! Dominating the carpet was a sea of Lanvin, which stars like Meryl Streep donned in perfect fashion, but with the hits also came some misses. Some pretty big ones!

Among the worst dressed of the night was the biggest snub, the surprise loser, andan asshole.

Sheilene Woody, who was widely considered to be the biggest nominee snub of the year, wore a plain beige dress that would have been much better suited for an actress of an older generation. You’re young with a hot bod, doll! Why waste your good years in such a vanilla dress?

Then there was Viola Davis, who most assumed would take home the gold. We’ll give her credit for the very daring haircut, but we’re not about to give her credit to how it looked. Ronald McDonald and the red carpet simply don’t mix.

And lastly we have the biggest bitch in Hollywood Gwyneth Paltrow, who brought basic to a whole new level. There’s a fine line between chic and dull, and unfortunately for her, she fell on the snoozer side.

In a perfect mix of feminine and masculine, Karolina Kurkova showed off her ultra low-cut body suit in a vibrant metallic silver, which looked beautiful in contrast with her oxblood heels and lips. The Help’s Jessica Chastain may have lost the award, but she definitely won on the red carpet. The actress wore a gold and black Alexander McQueen dress that popped against her strawberry locks.

Kate Bosworth also stunned with a short number, but the big surprise of the night came in Michelle Rodriguez. It may be because we’re used to seeing her look like a scrub, but we think girlfriend looked fierce last night!
