In what was sure to be a doomed relationship from the start, reality star Brody Jenner and his faux-punk girlfriend Avril Lavigne have called it quits.

Friends of the couple have been talking to Us Weekly to spill the details about their break up, and by the looks of it Avril is the one to blame.

“Every time he wanted to come back and take meetings to get his career back in order, she would make him go to Asia and Europe,” says a source. “He hasn’t worked and he wants to. They were both unhappy because he wants to have his career, she wants him to stay with her.”

Girl, here’s a little advice: If you go from having that thing from Sum 41 to having one of the best looking men on MTV (sorry, Pauley D), you should be going out of your way to hold on to him!

In a shocking surprise, Avril’s rep said the singer has no comment.

Looks like we might get a chance to be a part of the Kardashian family, after all! All we have to do is meet Brody Jenner and BOOM, it’s done. I mean, he dated Avril for almost two years. How high can his standards be?!
