Anne Hathaway sure is taking this Les Miserables role pretty seriously– Just two weeks after stirring up controversy over her 500-calorie-a-day diet for her upcoming role, the actress took another drastic leap by shaving her trademark brunette locks.

The 29-year-old stepped out on Saturday night to attend an event at The Box nightclub in London, England, where she was photographed for the first time with her new ‘do.

Although Anne hasn’t publicly said anything about her haircut yet, friends are saying that she’s already regretting the decision, saying that she’s simply not confident with the new style.
