Yes, we know it’s a very easy reference to mention ‘It’s Britney, Bitch’ when talking about Britney Spears, but in this case it is actually relevant! Britney is not someone who appears on a lot of other artists’ songs but she’s made an exception for Will.I.Am, appearing on his new single Scream & Shout, which will be the lead track from his upcoming album #willpower (yes, that’s the real name, unfortunately…) which is due to be released in the first half of December. Let us tell you, we LOVE it! Featuring a sample from Britney’s own Gimme More, it’s going to be massive in the clubs and we can’t wait to shake it to it! In fact, we’ve been doing it in the Gossip offices all day!

We told you before how excited we were when it was announced that Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy were going to be teaming up for a buddy cop comedy called The Heat and finally a trailer is out for the upcoming film! It looks pretty fantastic, and that is to say that it looks like Bullock is back as FBI Agent Gracie Hart in a third Miss Congeniality film, but she’s actually not. But let’s pretend! It certainly looks like it could be as Bullock and McCarthy team up for an action comedy that looks totally adorable.

It’s been many years since Ashlee Simpson has released any new music, and after the disappointing sales of her third album, Bittersweet World, it’s fair enough that she wanted to take some time off and regroup. After all, she was also busy getting a divorce and having a child, so she had other things going on… Will she channel that into her new music? We’ll find out for sure on November 21st, as Simpson has just announced her new single and video will be coming out that day!

The track is called Bat For A Heart and she’s released a teaser for her fans, which you can check out after the cut. She’s certainly going for an ‘edgy’ sound it seems – but does it work? Check out the teaser after the jump and let us know if you’re excited for new music from Ashlee!

While Saturday Night Live is presumably busy preparing for this Saturday’s episode hosted by Louis CK and featuring musical guest fun., they have just announced two more live shows coming up – with some great stars attached! We love keeping up to date on who is going to be hosting, so read on to see!

Anne Hathaway will be back for her fourth (!!!) time hosting on November 10th and will be joined by tabloid and chart staple Rihanna. The following week, Jeremy Remner will be hosting for the first time with Maroon 5 as the musical guests, making Adam Levine quit the golden boy over at NBC with his judging gig on The Voice as well.

It has been quite some time since we’ve seen an official new video from Miley Cyrus, even though she’s been teasing us about upcoming music on talk shows like Chelsea Lately recently. Now it seems like the wait might be almost over – and she’s got some surprises up her sleeves!

We’re hearing that Cyrus has cast a very successful porn star named Jessie Andrews in her upcoming video, believed to be called Decisions, which is a collaboration with a DJ named Borgore, who apparently used to date Andrews. The video is expected to come out within the next week and will also feature some pretty exciting images like her fiance Liam Hemsworth dressed up as a unicorn and Cyrus jumping out of a wedding cake. Weddings do seem to understandably be a big part of Cyrus’ world right now, with her upcoming wedding and the recent Jonas Brothers song about her coming out, too.

One of the new fall comedies, Animal Practice, has just been cancelled after only a handful of episodes made it to the air. This makes it the second show of the new season to be cancelled, following the CBS legal drama Made In Jersey, which was cut after only two episodes. For those that were wanting to check out Animal Practice, there are going to be a couple more to air but it’s likely too late to save the comedy, which was about a monkey that worked at a hospital. Or something… No one in this office had gotten around to checking it out either, though we are fans of Joanna Garcia and Justin Kirk.

Unless you’re a serious pop fan or outside of the US, you might not even know Girls Aloud, since they ridiculously have never become the famous divas in America that they should be. Well, for those that are in the know, get excited! After a couple years apart and a few solo albums from the girls, they are BACK!

Reunited with a utterly fierce single called Something New in advance of a new hits compilation, entitled Ten, which will be out on Nov. 26th in the UK. And that’s not all! They are also touring – but not coming to North America, unfortunately.

We’re not the only ones already getting in the Halloween spirit! When we first saw this picture, we thought for sure we knew who it was – Lindsay Lohan, right? No! It turns out to be none other than Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, rocking a fantastic wig and somehow questioning what she should go as for Halloween. The solution seems simple to us – Lindsay!

From the pose to the angle of the shot, it’s a dead ringer for Lindsay and she can fully pull it off. Since some people might be inclined to go for more of a mocking Lindsay, it would be cool for Fergie to dress up as another beautiful celebrity. Who knew she could pull off that look so well? Fergie is a big fan of dressing up for Halloween, previously dressing up as a child pageant queen from Toddlers & Tiaras – which is a pretty ingenious costume!

Britney Spears is certainly all over the place at the moment. You would think her high-profile judging gig on The X Factor would be monopolizing most of her time, but she’s still fit in time to create a new campaign for her upcoming fragrance Fantasy Twist. While this fragrance doesn’t really seem to be new, as it is half her fragrance Fantasy and half her fragrance Midnight Fantasy, it is a new spin on the two by combining them in one handy bottle.

There have been rumblings for some time that expectant-mother Adele was going to be doing the theme song for the new James Bond film, Skyfall, which was recently confirmed, and before you could get over your excitement, it arrived! And it’s AMAZING.

Bond fans will know there have been plenty of hits and plenty of misses over the years in regards to the theme songs, which have been done recently by artists like Madonna, Garbage and Sheryl Crow. This new one is instantly a Bond classic – and what else would we expect from an artist like Adele!? In her first new track since releasing the monster album 21, she brings it utterly and completely. We think it will be the biggest Bond theme in ages and could nab Adele an Oscar as well!
