In a shocking announcement on her blog, Bristol Palin lashed out against the teenage drama show Glee, wherein she revealed in no uncertain terms that the musical primetime hit was bad for America and led to President Obama’s advocation for gay marriage.

Or something like that. Her opinions on the two matters are both so ridiculous we figured we’d indulge in a little ridiculousness of our own.

Obama recently announced his advocation for gay marriage, citing his daughters, friends and close family as influencers of his opinion. Palin thinks these aren’t good enough reasons “to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage.” Yeah, we’ve never been wrong about human rights issues before, so why would we change an already great traditional marriage system that only has a divorce rate of 50%?

“Sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking. In this case, it would’ve been nice if the President would’ve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee.”

We know what this is Bristol, you’re just jealous. Quinn was able to have her baby and still remain a popular, well-liked cheerleader who could sing AND dance in her 3rd trimester. You only became famous for being Sarah Palin’s daughter, and although you scored a gig on dancing with the stars, we all know it’s not the same. Stop using social issues to vent your hatred for wonderfully performed, high-production value covers of our favorite top 40 hits. Shame on you.
