One Direction is the band behind the official Comic Relief charity single this year with their cover of Blondie’s classic (and oft-covered!) track One Way Or Another – and now we have the official cover art for the single! Member Niall Horan said: ”We are really excited to be part of Red Nose Day this year. We recorded Blondie’s One Way or Another and we really want the song to raise lots of money and for people to show their support by going out and buying themselves a copy.”

The song itself will be realeased officially on February 17th and we can’t wait to hear it!

Kony 2012 was one of the most instantly popular viral videos in the history of the internet, bringing tens of millions of views in within only hours of being posted on YouTube. If you’re unfamiliar with the video, it shows Jason Russell, the creator of Kony 2012, talking to his son about a wanted war and sex criminal, Joseph Kony, and calls for viewers of the video to help take action in capturing Kony.

The video and the efforts were all fine and dandy, but then Jason Russell LOST HIS DAMN MIND and ended up having a very public, very naked meltdown in the middle of a California street which took away a ton of his credibility as both a charity leader and filmmaker.

Ever since his breakdown (oh, did we mention that this entire thing was caught on video and posted on the Internet? Yeah, that didn’t help his case much…) Russell has been in hiding, but for the first time since the incident he’s doing an interview– And he’s talking about everything.

In a segment for Oprah’s next chapter, Jason and his wife sit down with the superstar interviewer to talk about what happened the day he lost his shit, and why he hasn’t pursued the Kony project since.

If you haven’t heard of the Boner Rower Henrik Rummel by now, then clearly you don’t spend as much time on the Internet searching for Olympians sporting semi-hard-ons while on the podium as we do (Spoiler alert: It has never happened to Michael Phelps). Basically he’s an American rower who was pushing a suspicious outline in his spandex shorts while accepting his bronze medal the other day.

After the perverts of the Internet caught wind of this happening, the photo went viral and sparked the greatest debate in Olympic history: Did this guy pop a boner or not?

In an interview Rummel did with Gawker yesterday, he claims that his oar wasn’t even hard at the time.

So, come on: was it a boner?
“Nope! If I did have one you can bet I would’ve tried harder to cover it up with the flowers. Those spandex are pretty tight fitting and whatever position it happens to be captured in, it’s staying that way.”

Supernatural star Jared Padalecki realized he could do a little good in the world (besides the good he already does by looking like that) by asking his fans to make a donation to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital instead of sending the ghost hunter presents for his baby.

In today’s ‘Ideas You Wish You Had First’ news, the girl that made the YouTube song for Jason Segel was rewarded for her efforts by getting to escort the actor to an award show in Chicago this weekend.

Remember earlier this month when that girl on YouTube posted a video pleading to Jason Segel to bring her out for a drink? Well it looks like her time spent writing that song didn’t go to waste– The How I Met Your Mother star not only took her out for a drink, her took her on a full-blown Hollywood style date!

Segel was honored as Screenwriter of the Year at the Chicago Film Critics Association Awards this past Sunday, so he decided to reward the YouTube singer Chelsea Gill by bringing her and her twin sister to the show as his date.

Super star singers Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj will forever be immortalized by Mattel. Each lady will have her own Barbie made to look exactly like her, right now to every last detail. For example, Nicki Minaj’s doll will feature the exact tattoo that she has on her arm. We think this is pretty rad.

Sources close to Mattel have let it slip to the press that the company behind the success of Barbie will be producing ONE single Nicki doll and ONE single Katy doll.

The Nicki doll will be auctioned off online on Dec. 7th and all of the proceeds will benefit the Project Angel Food organization.
