Ale Baldwin, wife, pregnant, 30 Rock, SAG Awards

They only just tied the knot in June, but it looks like they’re already ready for the honeymoon to end: Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas have announced that they’re expecting their first child together.

Baldwin and his yoga instructor wife showed off the first glimpse of her baby bump last weekend at the SAG Awards, and now In Touch has announced that they are in fact expecting a baby later this year.

Neither the mother or father-to-be have spoken out about the rumors, but many people close to the couple claim that the 30 Rock star and his wife are nearly 3 months along.

The 54-year-old has another daughter, who, just to remind you, he called a ‘little pig’ in a voice mail a few years ago. Looks like he’ll make a great dad! Congrats to the happy couple!

Steve Harvey Crying

Normally Steve Harvey doesn’t register on our radar, but after seeing the clip from his birthday special on Friday, we’re more than a little in love with him.

The comedian was told while on-air by his producer that someone was waiting VIA satellite to give him a special birthday wish, and Harvey’s reaction when he saw who it was was priceless.

The man was Rich Liss, a former boss of Harvey’s who supported Harvey both financially and emotionally while he was starting his career as a comedian.

While unsuccessfully trying to hold back tears, Harvey said: “Hey, man, I love you… I was struggling. I didn’t have nothing. And these people… took me in.”

If you don’t feel like crying while you’re in the office, we suggest skipping the video of the surprise below! Read more…

On last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a segment was interrupted with a because of a scheduling conflict with a television show called Knife Guys. The QVC kitchenware show, which is hosted by Will Ferrell and Ryan Gossling, tapes in the studio every Wednesday night, but because Kimmel’s show was bumped up an hour, they ended up taping at the same time.

Now obviously this was all set up and wasn’t actually a problem for the three, but it made for a hilarious argument regardless.

Happy-Endings-Dont-Trust-the-Bitch-in-Apartment-23-cancelled

Two of our favorite shows (Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23 and Happy Endings) look like they’ll be seeing their final episodes this season, as viewership for the two comedies are at an all time low.

Both shows were moved to ABC’s Sunday night time slots in a last ditch effort to gain more viewers, but that seemed to do little to nothing in terms of getting more people to watch the shows.

The time slot premier of Happy Endings only had a rating of 1.0 in adults 18-49, the shows target audience, which was an all time low for the series, and down 23% from their 1.3 rating on the last new show, which premiered on December 18.

But not to be upstaged, Don’t Trust The B matched the all-time-low-status that Happy Endings has gained, bringing in only a 0.2 in adults 18-49, which was down 18% from their 1.1 on the 18th.

So what’s this mean for the future of the shows? Well ABC hasn’t announced their plans for canceling or renewing the programs, we’re assuming that at very least they’ll be stuck in the same renewal limbo like they were last season.

Do you watch DTTBIATT and Friends 2.0? What do you think of the possible axe situation?

this-is-the-end-movie-poster

Remember when we told you forever ago that nearly every fully man in the business would be filming a movie about the end of the world where they all play themselves? Well folks, that movie is finally finished, and the trailer is finally here!

The comedy titled This Is The End follows six famous friends who get trapped in a house together after a series of catastrophic events happen that lead to the end of the world. At some point of the movie they wonder out into the real world where they meet up with the likes of Rihanna, Emma Watson, and apparently every other celebrity that was in a 20 mile radius of where they were filming that day.

The movie stars Seth Rogan, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, and Micheal Cera, although rumor has it most of them are dead by the end of the movie.

Check out the red band trailer (and a hilarious intro by Rogan and Franco) after the cut! Read more…

Lena Dunham Twiggy Entertainment Weekly

In the newest edition of Entertainment Weekly, Girls actress Lena Dunham channeled her inner Twiggy for a photo shoot inspired by the iconic model, but when we saw the finished product, we couldn’t help but ask: Why are magazines trying to trick us into thinking Lena Dunham is pretty?

After a full season of the HBO breakout comedy, a few things about Dunham are clear: She’s a good director, a talented actress, a great writer, a funny girl, and, above all else, confident. Probably more confident with herself than most people are. But sexy is one thing she isn’t, and that’s what we liked about her.

After seeing several spreads of her in magazines like Vogue, People, and now Entertainment Weekly praising her for her unique look, we can help but sit in wonderment at why it isn’t enough for the media to simply let us enjoy her as a brain and not a bod.

After a parade of men like Seth Rogan, Jason Segel and Judd Apatow have gotten famous for being hilarious and still looking the way they do, we’re still not socially allowed to put female celebrities on the same pedestal unless they’re as funny as Dunham but also look like Megan Fox.

Let’s face it, we liked Dunham when the show first started because she’s not pretty. Because she reminds us of our funny friend from work or our neighbor our ourselves. She was a realistic version of what we wanted to see on TV, and now she’s being turned into a wannabe model, which we just don’t like. The more magazines are trying to push her ‘beauty’ on us, the more we’re finding ourselves  pushing back by subconsciously finding her less funny. Sure the hot girl can be funny, but why does the funny girl have to be hot?

When the second season of Girls comes around, we’re hoping to see the same humor about her chubby bod and less of this glamorized Dunham that’s been plastered on Page Six. But we won’t hold our breath.

A Many Splintered Thing out of money

What kind of fuckery is this? The producers of a new movie staring a bunch of people who have millions of dollars are now asking for fans to donate $50, 000 to make their movie. Seriously.

A Many Splintered Thing, which is proclaimed to be the ‘anti-romantic comedy,’ will be staring Chris Evans, Aubrey Plaza, Michelle Monaghan, Giovanni Ribisi, Anthony Mackie, Topher Grace and Luke Wilson, all people which are considered rich by any accounts, is asking fans to be extremely generous with donations to make the movie a reality.

Apparently filmmakers need to raise the $50, 000 by the 26th of next month in order to keep the movie alive, and donations are being collected up to $10,000 per person. Because it’s clearly the logical choice to donate money to make a movie instead of donating it to a helping cause.

Regardless, the movie makers are promising perks for donations, and the more you donate, the better the perk.

jeremy renner jon hamm saturday night live

There’s more excitement than usual surrounding Saturday Night Live this weekend. We’re not sure if it’s because one of the hottest Avengers in history, Jeremy Renner, is set to host, or because there have been all sorts of rumors flying around about guest appearances on the live late night show.

According to insiders, not only have co-judges of musical guest Adam Levine’s show The Voice, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green, been hanging around the set, but Jon Hamm has been spotted by several people entering the iconic 30 Rock building, and rumors are starting to fly that he’s going to make a guest appearance on the show this weekend.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, we think it’s safe to say that some big names will be showing up in the skits!

Do you think anyone is going to be popping up in the skits?

Joe Biden Parks And Rec Amy Poehler

It’s a big week for Joe Biden. First he gets re-elected as the Vice President of the United States, and now he’s going to be in an upcoming episode of Parks and Recreation.

Biden, who is notorious on the show as Leslie Knope’s biggest crush, will appear on the November 15 episode of the NBC comedy. Biden will be playing himself as Amy Poehler’s character is brought to the white house by her new fiance (sorry if that was a spoiler, but we’re sure you’ve probably heard that by now!) Ben Wyatt, played by Step Brothers actor Adam Scott.

The network has only ran one small teaser featuring Biden so it’s unknown if his role is brief or lasts throughout the episode, but you only have to wait another week to find out!

But while we’re on the subject of P&R, HOW CUTE WAS THAT PROPOSAL??? We lost our shit!!!
