It’s a big week for Joe Biden. First he gets re-elected as the Vice President of the United States, and now he’s going to be in an upcoming episode of Parks and Recreation.

Biden, who is notorious on the show as Leslie Knope’s biggest crush, will appear on the November 15 episode of the NBC comedy. Biden will be playing himself as Amy Poehler’s character is brought to the white house by her new fiance (sorry if that was a spoiler, but we’re sure you’ve probably heard that by now!) Ben Wyatt, played by Step Brothers actor Adam Scott.

The network has only ran one small teaser featuring Biden so it’s unknown if his role is brief or lasts throughout the episode, but you only have to wait another week to find out!

But while we’re on the subject of P&R, HOW CUTE WAS THAT PROPOSAL??? We lost our shit!!!

In the outcome that all smart Americans wanted to see last night (seriously, did you not see this video?), President Barack Obama was re-elected as the Commander In Chief of the United States of America.

In today’s early hours, Barack took the stage in Chicago to give one of the most bad-ass speeches in Presidential history, where the 51-year-old rattled off reasons why America is awesome, and more or less why he’s a better president than Romney.

He ended the speech by saying, “We are and forever will be the United States of America. With your help and God’s grace, we will continue our journey forward. And remind the world just why it is that we live in the greatest nation on Earth.Thank you, America. God bless you. God bless these United States.”

It’s the age old tale of multi-million dollar selling country star falls in love with a Kennedy, buys house beside his grandmother, breaks up with boy because he’s only 18. I mean, come on. How many times have we heard this one?

Ok, so maybe the story isn’t that common, but Taylor Swift splitting from a boyfriend isn’t shocking news in the slightest, and that’s what has happened yet again as insiders are saying that the Red singer has broken up with boyfriend Conor Kennedy.

“They quietly parted ways a while ago. It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They’re fine. It’s been over a month since they’ve even seen each other. With her promotion for Red she has no time off until the end of the year,” said the insider.

This comes just one day after the singer did an interview with Ellen, saying she was embarrassed of herself as all nine times she has appeared on the show, she’s had a different boyfriend. Looks like the cycle is going to continue!

Yesterday the former Governor of California was spotted going out to lunch in what can only be described as your childhood dream car, should you have been an extremely rich hillbilly when you were a child.

Schwarz rolled up in Hollywood in his $250, 000+ (we say ‘plus’ because $250, 000 is the basic rate, and we highly doubt he went for the normal package) Mercedes-Benz U1300 Unimog, so obviously he was trying to go incognito. Mission accomplished.

Naturally the fist thing that comes to mind when you’re thinking about the Democratic National Convention is the stoner comedy of the century, Harold And Kumar. No? That’s not what you think of? Well apparently that’s exactly what the president thinks!

In a new promo for the DNC was released online, and it features none other than Barack himself talking to the two most infamous marijuana addicts. What’s even more surprising than the promo is the fact that one of them is actually hosting the convention! Sure, Kal Penn gave up acting for the White House, but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about his pot past.

Looks like things are getting serious between Taylor Swift and boyfriend Conor Kennedy!

The country singer brought her 18-year-old political royalty beau home to Nashville to meet her family! The two were spotted sharing dinner at a BBQ diner in the Tennessee city, and sources say Swift later had her mother over to spend some quality time with Conor.

It may sound like a lot of pressure for a new couple, but considering Swift has already spent time with his entire family (and was originally set up by his grandmother!), we’re going to say it’s safe to assume that meeting T’s mama isn’t that big of a deal to them!

Girlfriend knows how to pick dem boys with good genes! Despite the fact that rumors were swirling that Taylor was dating Arnie’s son, it turns out she’s actually dating his cousin, Connor Kennedy.

The country cutie has been spotted with Robert F. Kennedy’s descendent on several occasions, but for the first time the  two have confirmed suspicions that they’re a couple by flaunting a little innocent PDA around the Kennedy’s compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts this weekend.

But this isn’t just your average celeb/politician relationship– It’s a little bit of a cradle robbing situation! Taylor, who is about to be 23, is almost 5 years older than Connor, who only recently turned 18. I guess that’s why they’re only coming forward with their relationship now… It was illegal a few months ago!

We’re not sure who’s getting the better end of the deal here: The kid who’s getting to date a world-wide megastar, or the singer who’s bagged herself a Kennedy!

Taylor Swift is robbing the cradle. Or is just watching fireworks with a new friends. Buuuut we’re going to go with the first one, because it makes a much more interesting story.

Yesterday for the 4th of July, your second favorite heartbreak queen (let’s be serious here, you bumped her down the second you started crying to Someone Like You) was spotted having a romantic night under the fireworks with none other than son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Patrick.

The 22-year-old singer and 18-year-old model spent the day in Massachusetts and were spotted breaking away from the group of Kennedy family members to snag some alone time for a stroll on the beach. That sounds like romance to us!
