For most people, having the chicken pox means not being able to hang out with your friends at recess because you’re staying at home sick, but for Barbara Walters the diagnoses of the infection could be much, much worse.

The 83-year-old talk show host missed the most recent taping of The View because of the illness, which Whoopi Goldberg announced to the audience.

“We want to give you an update on Barbara… [She was] running a temperature, but it turns out it is all the result of a delayed childhood. Barbara has the chicken pox,” said Whoopi. “She’d never had it as a child. So now she’s been told to rest, she’s not allowed any visitors.” Read more…

Normally Steve Harvey doesn’t register on our radar, but after seeing the clip from his birthday special on Friday, we’re more than a little in love with him.

The comedian was told while on-air by his producer that someone was waiting VIA satellite to give him a special birthday wish, and Harvey’s reaction when he saw who it was was priceless.

The man was Rich Liss, a former boss of Harvey’s who supported Harvey both financially and emotionally while he was starting his career as a comedian.

While unsuccessfully trying to hold back tears, Harvey said: “Hey, man, I love you… I was struggling. I didn’t have nothing. And these people… took me in.”

On last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a segment was interrupted with a because of a scheduling conflict with a television show called Knife Guys. The QVC kitchenware show, which is hosted by Will Ferrell and Ryan Gossling, tapes in the studio every Wednesday night, but because Kimmel’s show was bumped up an hour, they ended up taping at the same time.

Now obviously this was all set up and wasn’t actually a problem for the three, but it made for a hilarious argument regardless.

If you haven’t heard the latest drama surrounding the Lohan clan, then get ready for a doozy: After a woman named Kristi Horn claimed that Micahel fathered her child in 1995, he denied allegations and refused to take a DNA test, saying that the daughter, Ashley, couldn’t have been his, because he didn’t sleep with Horn in a time frame that would have allowed Ashley to be his.

Well, turns out he’s a dirty liar, because a DNA test proves once and for all that Michael Lohan is, in fact, the father.

On an episode of ‘Trisha Goddard,’ a show that we’ve never heard before, Ashley and Michael took a DNA test that proved without a doubt that he’s her biological dad.

But that’s not even the best part: For what seems like no reason at all, MAURY POVICH comes out of no where to talk to him about the DNA test! That sounds like a storyline that someone took straight out of our dreams.

Why is it that we’ve never been taken to court, yet we’re still terrified of Judge Judy? But our irrational fears aside, the TV personality appeared on yesterday’s episode of Katie Couric’s daytime talk show and showed off a SMOKIN picture of her on her 70th birthday.

The judge, or Judith Sheindlin as she’s known outside the world of law, unbelievably turned 70 on October 21, and girlfriend proved that she looks nothing like her age while donning a white two-piece.

“Florence Henderson told me 70 is the new 50,” she told Couric on the show.

Judge Judy has been one of the highest-rated day time talk shows since Oprah left the air, only once being out beat by Maury. We can’t help but wonder if any of those viewers are just horny dudes trying to get a peak at her goods!

In yet another case of the ‘I’m so famous that I no longer have privacy’ blues, Kristen Stewart is on the verge of bursting over questions about her Relationship with Robert Pattinson.

While on The Today Show this morning, one of the hosts asked point-blank if she’s back together with her Twilight co-star, who she broke up with following an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsmen director.

How did Kristen react to the question? Well, she looked pissed. Like… Really pissed.
