Ok ok, so maybe Armie Hammer didn’t just blow $18 million on a new house in the Hollywood Hills, but his Facebook counterparts did!

The now infamous Winklevoss twins (AKA the guys that Mark Zuckerberg stole the idea for Facebook from) just landed a sweet new pad in one of the swankiest areas of California.

Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss allegedly got $65 when they settled their lawsuit with the social media giant,  and they’re just now flashing their cash for the first time in a big way.

So what exactly are the duo doing in California? Not sitting around being rich, as we’re sure we would be doing. They’re in town to launch the western section of their start-up company, Winklevoss Capital, which currently resides in NYC.

Damn, boys! If you’re single, give us a call!

HBO’s Girls director/ writer/ creator/ actress Lena Dunham recently directed a new promo video for a New Yorker iPhone App and it’s a little… odd.

The break out star is known for her slightly-sideways humor, but the 5-minute commercial is a little too quirky for even our liking.

Check out the video below which stars Jon Hamm as a vintage talk-show host, Dunham as the New Yorker’s editor, and her Girl’s co-star Alex Karpovsky as they introduce the newly redesigned app.

ashton kutcher steve jobs

It looks like the newest Two And A Half Men star is getting another huge job to add to his resume: Ashton Kutcher has signed on to play Steve Jobs in the upcoming movie ‘Jobs’, the story of the independent hippie turned technology god.

Jobs, which will be directed by Joshua Michael Stern and penned by Matt Whiteley, has been widely rumored to be produced since early in 2011 when Steve Jobs first stepped down as his position of Apple CEO, but nothing on the movie has been official until now.

Although Kutcher hasn’t developed any life-changing projects like Jobs has, he’s no stranger to the world of technology– Kutcher is widely known as one of the first celebrities to use Twitter as a way to communicate with his fans, and is part-owner of several media and technology related websites.

He definitely has the look, but do you think Ashton has the charisma it takes to play Steve Jobs?

Apple creator Steve Job passed away yesterday, October 5 2011.

The technology star had been suffering from pancreatic cancer for the past two years, but didn’t show any signs of possible health demise until he stepped down from his position as Apple CEO in August.

Apple posted the following statement on their website late last night:

Such a tragic loss for the world of technology. Jobs was known as a dreamer who has changed the face of how we use computers, cell phones, and how we live our day-to-day lives. If you want to share your memories on the computer mogul, Apple has set up an e-mail address in his honor, rememberingsteve@apple.com.

Andy Samberg shoed up to the Facebook keynotes speech to warm up the audience for Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The F8 conference was held yesterday to unveil the new look of Facebook (which, if you haven’t seen yet, is basically a new way to stalk people easier), and the Saturday Night Live star helped out the social networking big wig by pretending to be the ‘Zuck Dawg’ before Mark took the stage to show people their new obsession.

The skit was funny, but how is it that after 6 years of being one of the most famous celebs in the world, Zuckerberg is still that awkward in public?!

If you’re ready for a funny 6 minutes immediately followed by a minute and a half of second hand embarrassment  once Mark comes out, then check out the video below!
