Even if you haven’t seen last year’s surprisingly well done blockbuster Rise of The Planet of The Apes, you should know by judging by the title that a sequel was clearly planned.
Recently FOX CEO, Tom Rothman confirmed to MTV NEWS that there will indeed be a sequel:
“It will be a summer 2014 movie release. “I think one of the big questions they’re wrestling with now, which is kind of the fun, is how far forward do we skip? When does it start? Does it start the next day? The next year? Does it start in 10 years? Does it start in 50 years?”
This is extremely good news for Planet of the Apes fans, however sad news considering hottie James Franco may not be involved if they jump too far into the future.

Daniel Radcliffe was spotted on the set of his new movie, Kill Your Darlings, yesterday in New York City looking like he could be a brother to Penn Badgley or James Franco!
Radcliffe has been preparing for the role, which has him playing gay Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in the 1940′s. But be warned Potter lovers, because seeing this movie may taint the image you have of the always innocent Harry: Radcliffe pulls a Jason Segal and goes fully naked in the flick!

It seems like these two must have had a good time making Moneyball together, because Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill just signed on to co-star alongside James Franco in the upcoming memoir-turned-movie about journalist Michael Finkel’s life.
Hill, who’s new movie 21 Jump Street raked in over $35 million at the box office for their opening weekend, will be playing Finkel, a New York Times Magazine writer who learns that one of the FBI’s most wanted murderers, Christian Longo, has been captured in Mexico after living under Finkel’s identity.
Longo will be played by Franco, but the studio has yet to announce what Pitt’s involvement with the cast will be.
We’re excited for this movie! We love watching Hill go from the slap-stick comedian to a real actor.

James Franco isn’t exactly what you’d call a public guy. Despite the fact that he’s done everything from graduated from ivy league universities, starred in Blockbuster movies, hosted the Oscars, opened an art gallery, filmed a documentary about porn, and taught a class about his own movies in New York, he’s managed to keep his private life private.
But in the name of art, he’s about to change that himself.
Franco has started a project called ‘the last four years’, where he’s documented almost the past half-decade and is posting his self-taken photographs on social networking sites like Facebook and Tumblr to share what he’s been doing.
