Sera Gamble fired from Supernatural

Uh-oh, Supernatural fans– One of the last remaining head honchos at the show is on her way out at the end of the season, Zap2it has confirmed.

After sticking with the sci-fi thriller for its entire seven-season run, show runner and script writer Sera Gamble has decided to step down after this years season finale. Gamble first took the reins of the show at the beginning of season 5 when show creator Eric Kripke stepped aside to pursue other projects, but fans have been disappointed with the direction the show has taken since she’s started calling the shots.

“Supernatural has a strong fan base, but people just didn’t like what Sera has done,” says an insider. “If [the fans] weren’t so dedicated, the show would have been cancelled during her first season.”

So what does this mean for the future of Supernatural? Stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are signed on to do an 8th season of the show, but after that, fans are going to say goodbye to The Winchesters for good!

What do you think of the news of Gamble’s exit? Will this be good for the last season of the show?

Jared Padalecki with baby

How could a guy who is buff, hot as hell, tall as a tree, sensitive, a cult phenomenon and a soon-to-be-DILF get even hotter? He raises money for charity.
