Anybody who is anybody has already suspected that Tom Cruise auditioned Katie Holmes to be his wife through a wife-hunt through the church of Scientology, however according to reports made in Vanity Fair that director Paul Haggis confirms is true, Tom Cruise auditioned up and coming actress Nazanin Boniadi to be his wife!
I know what you are thinking: Who the hell is Nazanin Boniadi? However, many of us have seen her as she played Barney Stinson’s girlfriend on How I Met Your Mother and if you’re wondering why she wasn’t a household name before that, click after the jump to find out what despicable things the church of Scientology made her do after she was declared an “unsuitable” partner for Mr. Cruise.
“She was talking to Tom on the phone up until last week saying, ‘I love you,’ ” a source tells PEOPLE of the actress.“Her inner circle has been planning this and switching out cell phones since she was in China [in mid-June],” adds the source. “When new cell phones arrived, then nobody could reach her. Her old best friends from last week don’t have her new number, no email. She’s unreachable.”
Holmes, 33, also rented her new apartment in New York City in early June. “[Tom] knew that she moved there, but [he thought it was] for different reasons,” says the source.
“She said she moved there to drive into the underground garage. There are fewer paparazzi and it’s less intrusive for her,” says the source. “It was the first phase of getting everything out of the house, and that’s why she was able to say she’s moving without giving an indication that she was going to divorce him.”
Now we all know how Katie Holmes planned on divorcing Tom Cruise and blindsiding him, but let’s list the reasons why!

Wow we have new respect for Katie Holmes. Apparently she’s filed for divorce to Tom Cruise. That’s right, the couch jumping man who professed his undying love to Katie Holmes and the perky actress who often sports cold sores on her crooked smile are headed for divorce court. Homophobic and, by the sounds of it, a total over-reactor!
Connor Cruise, son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, has been dropped by his openly gay publicist Todd Krim after sending him what Krim called a homophobic text.
After the New England Super Bowl loss on Sunday, Krim posted a light-hearted message on Twitter directed at Cruise, a major Patriots fan, saying “Sorry @TheConnorCruise maybe next year!!!”
Upon seeing the Tweet, Cruise paged Krim directly, saying “That was a gay ass fucking tweet… U don’t say shit like that the second they lose. Low. That was fucked. IDGAF [I don't give a fuck].”
Really, kid? You’re that mad that one of the MILLIONS of Tweets about the Pats loss had your name on it?!
Krim was obviously upset by the messages, so on Monday he sent out an e-mail to his fellow PR colleagues stating that he cutting ties to the 17-year-old DJ. The e-mail simply stated:
