Someone has been reading our diary, because the forces that be have just bumped our favorite Asian/ favorite eye candy/ favorite most things John Cho to series regular on Matthew Perry’s new NBC show, Go On.

The new show is a product of Friends exec producer Scott Silveri (which by default means it’s going to be good, because anything related to Friends is gold), and stars Chandler as a sports radio host who finds himself taking mandatory group-therapy sessions after suffering a recent loss.

We haven’t seen Cho as a series regular since he was on ABC’s FlashForward (which side note WAS OUR FAVORITE SHOW AND WE STILL CAN’T BELIEVE WAS CANCELLED), and we literally could not be more excited to see him on our TV screens again every week. Cho will be joining the cast as the manager of the station Perry works for.

NBC announced that Go On will premier on Wednesday, August 8th following Olympics coverage.
