Reality star Mike Sorrentino, better known as The Situation from MTV’s Jersey Shore, checked into an inpatient treatment program yesterday for substance abuse.

The Sitch’s rep confirmed the story early this morning stating that he has in fact entered rehab, but has yet to say exactly what for.

“[Mike] has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule,” read the statement.

First Snooki is appearing on Season 6 of Jersey Shore knocked up, and now Mike is going to have to do it sober? Boring! What’s the point of watching Jersey Shore if they’re not all planning on getting smashed every night and making bad decisions!?
