Oh my god, just tell us who the f*cking mother is already!!
The executives at CBS and 20th Century Fox are aiming to make How I Met Your Mother into the new Friends by making tentative negotiations to renew the season for a ninth season, despite the fact that it has been widely publicized that season eight will be the final season.

The reason why they’re aiming for a ninth season is because of the boost of viewers last season had. (8.5 million more viewers to be exact.)
However, what they’re failing to recognize is that more people have been watching BECAUSE they thought they were close to finding out who the mother is!! Even Die-hard HIMYM fans think two more seasons is excessive!
Even Jason Segel has stated to the press that he’s not interested in continuing acting in this show after the eighth season and you can’t do the show without Marshall—or any key character for that matter!
So we don’t care who the mother is, whether it’s Victoria, the girl from ‘The Wonder Years’ or that girl Ted bumped into at the club for a split second in season two, just show us who it is THIS season!!! Don’t be greedy!
