Very sad news for the Osbourne family. Jack Osborne was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Less than two months after he and fiancée Lisa Stelly welcomed their first daughter, Pearl Clementine, the 26-year-old new dad revealed that he has multiple sclerosis. For more on this story, keep reading.
Jack Osbourne, for those of you living under a rock for the past 9 years or so is Ozzy and Sharon Ozbourne’s son. Jack stared in their reality television show “The Osbournes” and had a very public battle with drug addiction and weight issues (both of which he has overcome beautifully).
How Jack found out he has MS.

Jack went into the hospital to get tests after he suddenly lost 60 percent of his vision in his right eye. It was during those tests that they discovered the underlying cause of his eye problems, MS. What is MS? Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that attacks the central nervous system, eye sight loss is one of the many symptoms people get, others include numbness in limbs, paralysis and tremors.
Although at this point MS is not curable, there are treatments available to slow down the progression of the disease. Jack will have a treatment regimen that includes daily drug therapy, holistic therapies and a stress reductive lifestyle to help him stay healthy.
Here’s what Jack had to say about finding out about the diagnosis.
“While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry. Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realized: ‘Being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point—if anything it’s only going to make it worse,’” … “‘Adapt and overcome’ is my new motto.”
Not surprisingly, the Osbourne family is rallying behind Jack, as is his fiancee. We wish Jack strength and good health as he fights his battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
