Saturday Night Live cast member, Late Night talk show sweetheart, Oscar Host: Jimmy Fallon is really beefing up his resume! According to insiders, Fallon is set to host the 2013 Oscars… And ABC isn’t happy about it.

Fallon, who hosts a show on ABC’s rival station NBC, has been approached by the Motion Picture Academy to host the prestigious ceremony, but ABC heads are heated over the decision. Although they don’t actually get a say on who hosts the show, insiders say that the ABC big wigs are livid over the Academy choosing an NBC face to work on the program, which is slated to air on their network.

We hope that ABC’s complaints don’t stand too far in the way, because we’re sure that a Jimmy Fallon hosted Oscar special would be AMAZING! Even if it doesn’t live up to our high expectations, it will still be better than that Franco train-wreck.
