Despite not having a ticket to one of the most popular sporting events of the year, rapper Lil Wayne showed up to the Oklahoma City Thunder/ San Antonio Spurs playoff game last night and proceeded to throw a hissy fit when he was rejected entrance to the stadium.

“Going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow,”  Tweeted the musician.

But we totally see where he’s coming from. We show up to sold-out and highly desired events all the time and expect to just waltz in without so much as a ticket for entrance.

TMZ spoke with a representative for OKC who said that not only did Wayne not have a ticket, but the actually told him before hand that he wouldn’t be able to go to the game!

“We did not ‘deny’ him, he just had no ticket,” said the rep. “His representatives contacted us about court side tickets and we told them we are completely sold out.” 

I guess when you tell Lil Wayne that something is sold out, it really means that there are available tickets for him? Whaa? What do you think about the debacle: Was Wayne being a dick, or should they have made room for him?
