It’s been widely speculated for years that White Collar’s Matt Bomer is gay, but it wasn’t until this weekend that he finally came out of the closet!

Despite the fact that Bomer has three children with rumored husband Simon Wells, he’d yet to address his family or the gay allegations in any way.

While receiving the award for The New Generation Arts and Activism Award, Bomer decided to publicly acknowledge his hubby for the first time, saying:

“And I’d really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry. Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment.”
