Ew! Ew, ew, ew. Matthew McConaughey stepped out on the set of his newest movie The Dallas Buyer’s Club for the first time after losing 30 pounds to portray an HIV positive man.

And it does not look good. The movie, however, sounds awesome.

McConaughey is playing Ron Woodroof, an electrician who was diagnosed with the AIDS virus in ’86 and eventually saves his own life through a series of alternative medicine practices.

“For me, it’s more of a mental thing than a physical thing. I’ll get down to the weight I need to get to. I’m on the way, and it’s what I need to do for the job,” said the actor when explaining the weight loss to Larry King.

Damn, boy! We liked your Magic Mike body way better!
