It’s been a damn long wait for a No Doubt album– but could it have been too long? Despite the fact that there’s been a ton of hype surrounding the new No Doubt album, it looks like their fans may have moved on to a band that hasn’t left them hanging for so long.
Their first album in ten years, Push & Shove, is only expected to make $120, 000 in sales this week. In today’s music world that’s not a bad debut, but it’s pretty small when being compared to the new Mumford & Son’s Babel.
The sophomore album from the hipster favorites didn’t just do well with their first week sales– they’re expected to surpassed half a MILLION. Exactly how much is Billboard reporting that Babel is going to rake in? Between $575,000 and $625,000. That’s a HUGE release for a relativity new act!
Despite their dismal debut, No Doubt are saying they’re still proud of the record and can’t wait to tour for it.
Did you buy the new album? Let us know what you thought of it!
