Sarah Silverman is no stranger to controversy, with many jokes related to subjects such as race and the Holocaust, and she has just made a joke about abortion in a very public forum – on Twitter.

It appears to be a commentary on the current ‘War On Women’ that has Republican candidate Mitt Romney attempting to overturn the Roe vs. Wade ruling that legalized abortion. Romney has previously stated: “Today, we recommit ourselves to reversing that decision. … People of both political parties know that more than a million abortions a year cannot be squared with the good heart of America.”
