While most of the Saved By The Bell cast has been consistently working and are still in the spotlight, it seems that Lark Voorhies has been left in the dust and it’s taking a toll on her in a horrible way.

Lark “Lisa Turtle” Voorhies already made headlines after her bizarre interview with Yahoo! went viral due to a horrible make up job and her answers but after her recent interview with PEOPLE magazine, it has been revealed that Lark is in fact battling bipolar disorder.

In the recent issue of PEOPLE, it is revealed that after a series of interviews with Voorhies, there was no question that there was something wrong. The troubled actress would frequently stop mid-sentence and stare off, often mumbling to herself or to others who weren’t in the room.

Although, Voorhies has denied rumors that she is suffering from a mental disorder, her mother has gone on the record and admitted that she is suffering from a bipolar disorder.

“There are things that have traumatized her,” says Tricia, 64, who shares a home with her daughter in Pasadena, Calif. “I care deeply about my daughter and I want her to resume her life.”

We hope Lark Voorhies gets the help she needs and realizes that we’re all rooting for her comeback soon!
