It turns out that the Jersey Shore celeb, Snooki and her on-and-off beau, Jionni Lavalle are on their way to have a shotgun wedding as the pair have just announced their engagement to the public!

I guess “The Situation’s” plotting to destroy their relationship on the hit reality show doesn’t pan out!

It hasn’t been even a week since we found out that Snooki is indeed preggers and it looks as if she wants to get married to her beau before popping out the little guido of joy.

According to a source close to the pair, who confirmed the engagement to People, the pair are already believed to start planning their upcoming shotgun   nupitals.

Speaking in January, the 24-year-old meatball said: “I know he’s the one so I know the ring’s gonna come soon. Well, not soon-soon. He knows it should be big, because if it’s small I’m saying no. Like, ‘Get another ring!’ “

Also word has it that the Jersey Shore star is reportedly set to make a spin-off reality TV show about her pregnancy.
