Supernatural star Jared Padalecki realized he could do a little good in the world (besides the good he already does by looking like that) by asking his fans to make a donation to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital instead of sending the ghost hunter presents for his baby.

“Lets make the world a brighter place for those not as fortunate,” Tweeted the star.

Just how much good did he do with his one Tweet?

Padalecki is reporting that his fans have donated over $25,000 so far to the hospital!

The star linked to his donations page writing a simple, “WOW!” at the accomplishment.

Now if only we could find a Padalecki to call our own…
