Until this morning we didn’t even know that Canadian singer Fefe Dobson was dating rapper Yelawolf, but things must be pretty serious between the two, because Yela just had her name tattooed on his head. That’s… Romantic?

Yela, who was basically plucked from obscurity and moved into the limelight by BFF Travis Barker, had his head inked with an image of Johnny Cash and June Carter, with script saying ‘Fefe’ under the portrait.

Why Johnny and June? The rapper explained:

“I met a girl named Fefe a while back, and we kinda clicked on Johnny Cash and June’s relationship. I always looked up to Johnny and June, and Johnny particularly because of his cowboy style. Love one woman type of thing. I always kind of wanted that. She just became a very important part of my life, and it’s changed a lot. That tattoo is just a show of appreciation and dedication for me to her, and then also our understanding of Johnny and June’s relationship and how I look up to Johnny Cash as an artist and a human, and how they carried themselves in the public. It winds and winds around in cycles. It’s a long story, but in short, that’s pretty much what the tattoo’s about.”

Well the thought is sweet, but can people please stop getting head tattoos now!? What happened to the day where giving a girl your pin was enough to show the world you cared? Now we have to get needles in our head? Uhh.. No, thanks. (Let’s be serious, it’s romantic. We’re just jealous because we’re single and there’s no one to tattoo ‘Gossip Overload’ on their heads.)
