If you were at Coachella this past weekend, there’s no doubt you lost your mind during Snoop Dogg‘s Sunday night performance when he brought out his special guest and if you weren’t there, there’s no doubt you wish you were.
There are a few usual suspects for an epic guest performance in 2012 including Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber, but Snoop’s special guest was beyond what anyone in the audience was expecting: He brought out Tupac. Yes, the Tupac you’re thinking of– The dead one.
Tupac appeared in front of the California audience as a lifelike 3D hologram taken from an (obviously) pre-recorded performance and did almost an entire song before vanishing to make way for Eminem to take the stage.
This marks Tupac’s first performance since his death in 1996 (editors note– that sentence was weird as hell to write), but rumor has it Dogg is planning on having the hologram appear in his upcoming 2012-2013 tour.
