It’s never a good sign when the director of the movie talks about how bad the movie was.

Catherine Hardwicke has been a reigning god in the Twilight world since she directed the first installment of the franchise back in 2008, but she’s going to ruffle a few vampire feathers with something she’s said in a recent interview.

When talking about her feelings towards the movie, Hardwicke opened up about what she thought about the script:

“Every one of those scripts sucked. Oh, Lord, did they suck. I thought the script was horrible, but then I looked it up on the Internet and I thought, ‘Okay, it’s based on a book and people tend to like it. There’s gotta be something there.’ “

Damn! That’s one pretty public way to bite the hand that feeds you, lady. But she didn’t stop there! Hardwicke went on to blab her mouth about when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart first started hooking up.

If you’re not familiar on the background of their relationship, congratulations on probably having a life. But the short of it is Pattinson was dating a different Twilight co-star Nikki Reed when he started hooking up with her BFF and Michael Angarano’s girlfriend, Kristen Stewart:

“[Michael's] a wonderful actor. He was in Dogtown, one of my favorites, so I felt pretty bad because I love him and they were such a great couple.”

Looks like someone felt stuck in the middle!

Regardless of what she thought when she was making, we have to ask… Why the hell is she still talking about it?! That was years ago! Doesn’t she have new projects to concentrate on by now?
